Donald Trump lurches from narcissism to farcissism and now he thinks he's Jesus

Intelligence Briefing

NewsLatest NewsDonald TrumpIf anyone in the world was going to develop a God complex it was always going to be Donald John Trump - and now he's taking on the Pope14:36, 13 Apr 2026Updated , 13 Apr 2026Oh Christ! It looks like Trump has finally gone from narcissism to farcissism. The unpredictable US President has depicted himself as Jesus in a bizarre new AI image.

‌Trump posted the disturbing photo of himself done up as the Messiah on his Truth Social Sunday night. In it he's shrouded in white robes and healing a man while surrounded by four adoring people, including a nurse and a soldier. ‌There's an eagle flying in front of the US flag, soldiers ascending toward a Heaven-like light in the middle and another eagle is flying next to military jets to the right.

‌The whole thing would be funny if Trump wasn't so unhinged. But is anyone really surprised? If anyone was likely to develop a God complex, it was going to be him.

The man already has an ego twice the size of the Texas. He's claimed to be “the chosen one” a few times, only to backtrack and say it was a joke. ‌And he said it was "an act of God" after he survived an assassination attempt in Pennsylvania in 2024.

Now he's sparring with the Head of the Catholic Church and last month said he should be Pope. He claimed: “I run the country and the world. I’d like to be pope,” kind of joking, but let's face it… kind of not?

The big headed Prez has put himself on a massive pedestal. He thinks he can rid the world of all its problems whenever he fancies. Trump's boasted about "ending eight wars" since last January, and wants the Nobel Peace Prize for it.

‌All the while forgetting the fact he's plunged the world into a fresh hell by starting a war in Iran. US and Israeli bombs have caused death and destruction - and the economic repercussions are being felt globally. Not to mention he also wants to dissolve NATO, a group fundamentally designed to maintain peace, security and freedom for its members.

‌I'm no religious expert, but isn't Jesus - aka the Lamb of God - supposed to be about kindness, forgiveness and avoiding anger. Not a bull in a China shop dropping literal and metaphorical bombs left, right and centre. Wasn't there also something about loving your neighbours?

If by loving they mean slapping crippling tariffs on allies and deporting people from your own country then he's spot on. If he was the messiah - then someone better say a prayer for us all quick. And he might want to do a refresher course on the Ten Commandments - given he's broken most of them.
